Renewable energy: projects and prices worldwide

The UAE’s record setting low bids for utility-scale solar developments signaled its potential to become a world leader in renewable energy. According to Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy, announced in 2015, the Emirate will have 75 percent of its total power output from carbon-free energy by 2050. I wrote about Europe’s largest port – the Port of Rotterdam – becoming a major hydrogen hub (on-line), and the emerging geography of hydrogen in Saudi Arabia (on-line). 

I wrote about LNG and the geopolitics of energy.
