I’ve been writing about Middle East energy, new energy and renewables since 2016. I have written about hydrogen, LNG, and the geopolitics of energy for Oilprice and other publications. The work prepared me to take on current responsibilities as editor of Energy & Utilities, now based in Dubai.
LNG is an interesting niche in energy markets depending on many factors and regional forces. I tried to shed light on global supply/demand and factors influencing prices, writing for Oilprice.
“Risky Routes: Energy Transit in the Middle East,” by Robin Mills, published by Brookings in April 2016, charts the whole spectrum of risk, from a temporary diminution of supply to a major disruption from closing a key chokepoint. I wrote a summary review and a 2-part interview with Robin for Oilprice.
